By accessing and using SettlyGo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.
SettlyGo is a platform that connects newcomers to Germany with local helpers who assist with administrative tasks such as registration, bank account opening, apartment viewings, and other settlement-related services.
We act as an intermediary platform and do not directly provide the assistance services. Helpers are independent contractors, not employees of SettlyGo.
First-Time Customer Policy: For your first booking with SettlyGo, we offer more flexible cancellation terms to help you feel confident trying our service:
Standard Cancellation Policy (applies to all subsequent bookings):
If a helper cancels, you will receive a full refund and we will attempt to find an alternative helper. In case we cannot provide a replacement, a full refund will be issued.
If you're unsatisfied with the service provided, you may file a dispute within 48 hours of service completion. We will review each case individually and may issue partial or full refunds at our discretion.
SettlyGo acts as a marketplace connecting customers with helpers. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or reliability of services provided by helpers. While we screen and verify helpers, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
SettlyGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
SettlyGo is a companion service, not a professional consulting service. Our helpers are like paying a local friend to accompany you to appointments and help you navigate German bureaucracy.

For professional services (legal advice, certified translations, immigration consulting, tax preparation), you must consult licensed professionals. SettlyGo is not responsible for any outcomes, decisions, or actions taken based on helper assistance.
You may not:
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on SettlyGo are owned by SettlyGo or licensed to us. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without our express written permission.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of Germany and resolved in the courts of Berlin.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date on which the contract was concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us — SettlyGo, hello@settlygo.app, www.settlygo.app — of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
If you have expressly consented that performance of the service should begin before the end of the withdrawal period, and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, your right of withdrawal expires upon full performance of the service.
This consent and acknowledgement is captured by the mandatory checkbox on the booking review step before payment.

Sie haben das Recht, binnen 14 Tagen ohne Angabe von Gründen diesen Vertrag zu widerrufen. Die Widerrufsfrist beträgt 14 Tage ab dem Tag des Vertragsabschlusses.
Um Ihr Widerrufsrecht auszuüben, müssen Sie uns — SettlyGo, hello@settlygo.app, www.settlygo.app — mittels einer eindeutigen Erklärung (z.B. eine E-Mail) über Ihren Entschluss, diesen Vertrag zu widerrufen, informieren.
Erlöschen des Widerrufsrechts: Das Widerrufsrecht erlischt bei einem Vertrag zur Erbringung von Dienstleistungen, wenn wir die Dienstleistung vollständig erbracht haben und mit der Ausführung der Dienstleistung erst begonnen haben, nachdem Sie dazu Ihre ausdrückliche Zustimmung gegeben haben und gleichzeitig Ihre Kenntnis davon bestätigt haben, dass Sie Ihr Widerrufsrecht bei vollständiger Vertragserfüllung durch uns verlieren (§ 356 Abs. 4 BGB).
